Check-In and House Policies

Check-in time: 3:00 p.m.

Special arrangements can be made for late or early arrivals.

Check-out time: 11:00 a.m.

We will gladly hold your luggage on your check out day while you tour or shop.

Included in the Price of Your Suite:

Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day.

In-room fridge

Smoking 

‍This is a smoke-free environment. In consideration of all of our guests, smoking is only permitted outside of the hotel property. Extra charges will apply if our rooms require additional cleaning due to smoking.

 

Keys

 

If guests lose their issued keys, an additional fee of $500 MXN will also be applied.

 

Pets 

We regret that we cannot accept pets.

 

Visitors

Guests are encouraged to make use of the communal areas and are encouraged to have friends and family visit them during their stay. 

Guests are entirely responsible for the behaviour of their friends and family.

Any damaged property or distress caused by guests and their visitors will result in a minimum $5000 MXN charge. 

 

Pool Rules

8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

 

There is no lifeguard on duty so use the pool at your own risk. 

 

We are not responsible for accidents or injuries. 

 

No glass is allowed in the pool. 

 

No animals are allowed in the pool. 

 

Pool towels are available in the pool area, do not use room towels. 

 

Right to Vacate

 

‍Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room under the following conditions: Loud and unruly behavior, fighting or violence, use of illegal drugs, excessive noise, illegal activities or any other acts deemed inappropriate or disruptive by management of Reina del Mar.

 

Reservation & Booking Policies

 

Room rates are based on double occupancy.  

 

All rates are quoted in PESOS. 

 

Limit two persons per room. 

 

At the discretion of management, there may be a maximum of 4 people in some of the rooms.  There is a $500 pesos charge for each additional person per room, per night.

 

Taxes

‍All rates are subject to mandatory Mexican taxes (16% VAT and 3% Lodging Tax). Taxes are not included in the rates.

 

Reservation Payments

 

 

Your credit card will be charged for your entire stay. No reservation will be confirmed until your payment has been received.  Payments can be made via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express), PayPal or Mexican Pesos. No other currencies can be accepted.

 

Cancellations / Refunds

 

Guests can cancel their reservation up to 60 days before their original arrival date with a 90% refund of their payment. 

 

If guests cancel their reservations between 60 - 30 days prior to their arrival, a 50% refund will be provided.

 

Cancellations between 30 - 15 days prior to arrival will receive a 25% refund.

 

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 15 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. No refund will be provided.

 

We cannot be responsible for travel delays, health issues, inclement weather or early departures. Due to our limited number of rooms, cancellations affect us greatly, so when situations arise that necessitate a cancellation, we sympathize, however, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.

 

 

Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of actual arrival or departure date. By making your payment you signify that you have read, understand and agree to the Cancellation Policy above and you understand that there are no exceptions. At Reina del Mar we rent our rooms by advance reservations. When you reserve a room or rooms, we agree to turn away all other requests for the room(s) you reserved, guaranteeing to hold them for the dates you requested.

 

DESIGNED TO BETTER YOUR STAY

We reserve the right to cancel

Guests who are unable to or fail to comply with the terms and conditions laid out will have their reservation cancelled. If such a case should arrive, the possibility of returning your payment in full or in part may be discussed with the hotel’s management.

 

In cases of accident, injury, or disruption

 

 

Reina del Mar is not liable for any costs incurred.  The user or guest is directly liable for any such misfortune, whether that may occur on Reina del Mar property.  The user or guest assumes all risk and incurred costs. In addition, Reina del Mar reserves the right to find guests liable for damages to the hotel property, including outdoor common areas, its hotel rooms or common areas.The hotel may find it necessary to apply a charge to a guest’s bill to cover the cost of repairing damage to the structures and grounds on the property.
